Oklahoma City Stabbing Leaves One Brother Dead After Video Game Dispute

An Oklahoma City stabbing has left one man dead and another in custody after a dispute between brothers escalated into deadly violence.

Police say the incident began as an argument over a video game between two brothers inside a residence. The conflict turned physical, and investigators say 19-year-old William Spencer allegedly stabbed his 25-year-old brother, Nicholas Spencer, multiple times.

Nicholas Spencer was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Oklahoma City police arrested William Spencer at the scene on a charge of murder.

Oklahoma City stabbing highlights domestic violence risks

According to police, arguments that escalate into violence often involve everyday disputes that spiral out of control. Detectives say this case underscores how quickly domestic situations can turn deadly, even when the initial conflict appears minor.

Authorities have not released additional details about the weapon used or whether other individuals were present at the time of the stabbing. The investigation remains ongoing.

Charges move forward as investigation continues

William Spencer was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and is expected to appear before a judge. Prosecutors will review evidence to determine whether additional charges or enhancements apply.

Police urge residents to seek help during domestic disputes and remind the public that intervention resources are available before conflicts become violent.
