Celebrity appearances are only part of the weekend.
Organizers have created interactive scare zones filled with live monsters and jump scares for fans looking for something slightly more intense than browsing the convention floor.
More than 150 independent artists, horror vendors and oddities creators will also be selling collectibles, artwork and other merchandise throughout the convention.
The weekend includes celebrity Q&A panels, competitive horror cosplay showcases and professional photo opportunities with participating guests.
Friday's convention hours run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
