Norman election is on hold!

A Norman special election set for August is on hold.  This follows a lawsuit brought by two former mayors resulting in a temporary restraining order.  The proposed plan would use sales tax collected from a specific area to create an arena, which would pay for the development.  The lawsuit lays out concerns about the timing and the cost of the election.  The city’s participation in the project would total 600 million dollars.
