An assistant Tulsa County District Attorney tells reporters kids with guns are getting younger and something needs to change. This after 18-year-old Ni’avien Golden received a 25-year prison sentence after being found guilty in the 2022 homecoming football game shooting at McLain High School. Golden was 16 at the time and shot into a crowd following a fight at the game. The D-A told the judge the shooting wasn’t a mistake, and he hopes the sentence sends a message.
