NFCA All-Americans: OU And OSU Stars Earn National Honors
Five Oklahoma softball standouts have earned recognition as NFCA All-Americans, with four Oklahoma Sooners and one Oklahoma State Cowgirl receiving national honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association following outstanding 2026 seasons.
The latest NFCA All-Americans selections showcase the individual talent across both programs, even though neither Oklahoma nor Oklahoma State advanced to this year's Women's College World Series.
According to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, Oklahoma placed four players on the prestigious All-America teams while Oklahoma State added one selection.
NFCA All-Americans Include Four Oklahoma Sooners
Leading the list of NFCA All-Americans were Oklahoma stars Kendall Wells and Ella Parker, who both earned First Team honors.
Kendall Wells delivered one of the most remarkable freshman seasons in Oklahoma softball history. The catcher blasted 34 home runs, tying the Sooners' single-season record while also earning SEC Freshman of the Year honors.
Ella Parker received her second consecutive First Team All-American selection. The recognition marks the third All-American honor of her career and further solidifies her place among the nation's elite players.
Oklahoma also placed two athletes on the Third Team NFCA All-Americans list.
Shortstop Gabbie Garcia earned her second consecutive All-American selection after another standout season anchoring the Sooners' infield.
Outfielder Kai Minor was also named a Third Team All-American after an impressive campaign that helped Oklahoma remain among the nation's top programs throughout the season.
Ruby Meylan Represents Oklahoma State Among NFCA All-Americans
For Oklahoma State, pitcher Ruby Meylan earned Second Team recognition among the 2026 NFCA All-Americans.
The honor marks Meylan's third career All-American selection and her second consecutive season receiving national recognition.
Meylan remained one of the nation's top pitchers throughout the year and was a key contributor for the Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
While both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State fell short of reaching the Women's College World Series, the strong showing among the NFCA All-Americans demonstrates the continued strength of college softball across Oklahoma.
With five total selections, Oklahoma's major softball programs once again produced some of the most accomplished players in the country during the 2026 season.
