Finding affordable housing continues to be one of the biggest challenges for Oklahoma families. A new state program may be able to help.
The Oklahoma Housing Stability Program could create up to 3,000 single-family housing units. Corey Bornemann, Housing Unit Supervisor for the Oklahoma Housing Finance Authority, provides information.
“…seventy-five percent for rural Oklahoma,” Bornemann said. “There is a big shortage of affordable housing across the state right now…”
Up to 215 million dollars will be available through the program that went into effect July 1.
