Legislative leaders will introduce new legislation to remove illegal immigrants from Oklahoma at the state capitol next week. House Speaker Charles McCall calls it common sense legislation that supports Oklahoma’s rights to legally defend our state’s borders from those in our country illegally.

The first offense would be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $500, imprisonment in a county jail for up to a year, or both. The second offense would be a felony, punishable by imprisonment in a state prison for up to two years and a fine of up to $1000 or both.
