new law tackling homeless camps

A new state law makes homeless camps on state-owned lands a misdemeanor. It goes into effect November 1st. Taylor Self works for The Homeless Alliance and doesn't see it solving the homeless problem.

The law defines an unauthorized camp as any tent, shelter, or bedding constructed for overnight sleeping on property not designated as a campsite.
