New Guidelines for Lenders from Federal Government

Customers who use buy now, pay later plans are getting new protections from the government. The change means lenders have to investigate customer disputes on charges, canceled services, and more. Basically, the companies must follow the same set of rules as credit card companies. The guidelines go into effect in 60 days.
