The Wichita and affiliated tribes are now the fifth tribal government to sign a tobacco compact with Governor Stitt. Meanwhile, a lawsuit the Governor filed against the legislature over the decision last year to extend old compacts through 2024 remains unresolved before the state’s supreme court.
