Major Turner Turnpike Expansion Project kicks off this month

The state’s oldest turnpike will be three lanes in both directions from Tulsa to Oklahoma City eventually. Barriers should be going up in a few weeks. This is the first project for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s Five-Billion-Dollar Access Oklahoma plan.

The work should take two years, and the first phase should not interrupt traffic.
