Lawton-Fort Sill Veterans Center Has Water

Water has been restored to the Lawton-Fort Sill Veterans Center after a weeklong battle against contamination. KSWO reports the situation began when a case of Legionnaires Disease was traced back to the Lawton Veterans home. The water was shut off on November 5th and several tests came back positive for Legionnaires Disease. Since then, the system has been flushed and the home will be working with a remediation company for treatment and testing.
