Leaders Want to Pause Water Release

A group of five state lawmakers are asking water officials to stop the release of water from Western Oklahoman’s Canton lake to Oklahoma City.  They argue rain fall over the next several days, may go a long way toward replenishing Oklahoma City reservoirs and the need for water from Canton Lake should be put on hold where western residents need it.
