State House Education Committee members approve a limit of virtual days to 12 hours for public schools annually. Representative Anthony Moore of Clinton says there were some districts that had 43 days or more virtual days last year. Democrat Michelle McCane of Tulsa contends it would limit local control of students. The bill heads to the house appropriations and budget committee for consideration.
