Latest Investigation Into the Dept. of Education

Term limits, primary election losses, and just leaving public office is taking a toll on an important group now probing the State Education Department.  The Legislative Office of Fiscal transparency is knee deep in an investigation into the education agency’s handling of federal funds.  It’s chairman and half of the members won’t be back for next year’s legislative session raising concerns, the probe won’t be finished.
