Lankford Wants to enhance The US Secret Service

U.S. Senator James Lankford seeks to enhance Secret Service protection for presidential nominees to the same level currently provided to sitting presidents.  The bill allows for the nominee to decline the increased protection and requires the secret service leadership to update house and senate members during the presidential election.
