Kevin Underwood is seeking a stay of execution

Because of recent resignations from the Pardon and Parole board, death row inmate Kevin Underwood is now asking his execution this month be put on hold. Attorneys for Underwood argue state law says a clemency hearing for Underwood involves a five-member board.  With two resignations only 3 members of the board remain. A clemency hearing for Underwood is scheduled for Monday.
