September first brings Oklahoma’s first major hunting season of the fall. Dove season starts Sunday and runs through October. The season reopens for December. Anyone 17 and under may hunt doves without a permit, but one is required for anyone 18 to 63, unless exempt. Oklahoma’s hunting regulations can be found online.
