House Democrats are calling on the Speaker to form a committee to investigate State Superintendent Ryan Walters.

This could lead to Walter’s impeachment. House Democratic leader Cyndi Munson listed concerning statements and actions by Walters that led to the letter sent to Speaker McCall.

Munson said Democrats are not alone in their concerns, and the focus is primarily on how Walters handled the accreditation of Tulsa Public Schools.
