House Appropriation and Budget Committee Approves Funding to Improve School Security

Members of the House Appropriation and Budget subcommittee approved a bill to offer 2.6 million dollars to school districts to improve security. Sponsor Dick Lowe of Amber says it is leftover money to help districts against school shootings.

The bill is now headed to the full House Appropriation and Budget Committee for consideration.
