Historic Jewel Theatre Is Finally Being Restored

Oklahoma City’s Jewel Theatre located on the east side is seeing new life after receiving a one million dollar grant to renovate the structure. It was built as a place for the city's Black community to enjoy the arts during the Segregation Era. A business plan is being developed, so an opening date is not yet set.
