Oklahoma Seizes 1.7 Million Illegal Marijuana Plants Since 2022

Enforcement Yields Big Results

Governor Stitt commended the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) for their aggressive efforts to combat illegal marijuana operations.

Marijuana By the Numbers

Since 2022, officials have:

  • Seized 1.7 million marijuana plants

  • Made 302 arrests tied to illegal grows

  • Reduced the number of commercial licenses from 13,700 in 2021 to 5,200 today

State leaders say the crackdown has significantly reduced black-market activity and restored confidence in the regulated cannabis industry.
