Former State Rep Is Facing embezzlement charges

A former state representative is now facing embezzlement charges in Murray County. Wes Hilliard is charged with 10 counts of embezzlement involving the Murray County Junior Livestock Association. Among the charges is one count of allegedly engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses in two or more counties. Hilliard’s next court date is April third.
