Former Olympian Jim Thorpe Receives Presidential Medal of Freedom

Former Olympian Jim Thorpe has been named a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The president is giving the highest civilian award in the U.S. to Thorpe’s family at the White House. Thorpe was a member of the Sac and Fox nation and is considered by many to be the greatest athlete of all time.
