EMSA Issues First Medical Heat Alert of 2025

EMSA is issuing its first Medical Heat Alert of 2025 for the Oklahoma City service area.  On Sunday, medics responded to seven heat-related illness calls with three of those patients who were transported to local hospitals due to their symptoms. People should take heat precautions including drinking water, finding shade, and limiting outdoor work.
