Elk City Man Arrested After Attempt to Meet Minor Online
Elk City police have arrested 38-year-old Christopher Pitts, who allegedly arranged to meet who he thought was an underage girl at a local travel stop. According to investigators, Pitts admitted he had been having explicit online conversations believing the person to be a minor.

Following the arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for Pitts’ electronic devices. Inside, they discovered child sexual abuse material, leading police to believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
