easing the sting of medical debt

One lawmaker wants to prevent unexpected medical debt from plummeting your credit report. Representative Forrest Bennett has authored a bill that seeks to make sure medical debt accrued because of emergency, life-saving care does not get reported to credit agencies. Bennett adds nearly 20-percent of Oklahomans have medical debt in collections today.
