Dr. Steven Agee Speaks Out on Government Shutdown Possibility

Ten days away from a potential federal government shutdown, an Oklahoma economic expert says we shouldn’t be facing this.

Dr. Steven Agee is the Dean Emeritus of the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University. Agee says he would like to see the federal debt ceiling eliminated to keep parties from playing politics.

“It is really sad a ridiculous that we have to go through this so often,” Agee said.

Agee says the government simply needs to pay its bills.
