Putnam City Schools has announced the selection of Dr. Kenny Rodrequez as the district’s 25th superintendent.

Dr. Rodrequez said he looks forward to building on the district’s foundation.

The board expressed gratitude for Rhodes’ leadership and service to students, teachers and staff.

Dr. Rodrequez’s official start date as Putnam City Schools superintendent is July 1, 2026.
