State Senate President Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton says DOGE – OK could be a good idea if it doesn’t duplicate existing functions. Paxton says there are several ways taxpayers are protected including the creation of LOFT, state audits, and grand juries. The Governor claims he’s been looking out for the interests of taxpayers since 2019 with the elimination of 1-thousand vehicles from the states fleet.
