democrats seek to raise the minimum wage

The minimum wage in Oklahoma has been stagnating at 7-dollars and 25 cents an hour since 2008.  Over the last 17 years inflation has increased the cost of living by over 46-percent.  House Minority leader Cindy Munson says that’s why she’s introduced a bill to raise the minimum wage to 16 dollars an hour this year.  The governor put off a vote on a state question to raise the wage until 2026.
