Sources have confirmed as many as a dozen meteorologists at the National Weather Center office on the campus of the University of Oklahoma have been fired. The cuts come just as the severe storm season is about to begin. Sources tell the Radio Oklahoma News Network, that the cuts from the Trump administration could well cost lives as climate change continues to cause more and stronger weather events. Across the entire National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration, the number of cuts is not yet clear.
