Budget Negotiations Continue Between Legislators and Governor

Today is the eighth day of budget negotiations between legislative leaders and the Governor.  Progress has been limited with stumbling blocks ranging from an impasse over a tax rate reduction to whether House Speaker Charles McCall will participate in an override of a potential Gubernatorial veto of the budget.
