Concerns have been raised about Oklahoma's homeless population, and a bill proposed to the House tries to address that. Senate Bill 1854 prohibits setting up unauthorized camps on state-owned property.
Some House members, like Representative Mickey Dollens question if criminalizing homelessness is the answer. The bill passed the House with a 77 to 18 vote.
