A Senate-passed bill won unanimous approval in a House subcommittee to require school districts to teach classes on sex trafficking, exploitation prevention, and awareness. The bill’s Sponsor, Representative Mark Lepak, says parents would easily review the courses.

Lepak says the State Education Department would be required to partner with recognized experts to develop the curriculum.
