It’s taken 20 years and a lot of money, but Oklahoma has gone from 49th in the nation for bad bridges to number 4. Department of Transportation director Tim Gatz says they are still keeping a close watch on highway bridges.
There are 35 bridges still listed as structurally deficient and a thousand more listed at risk when means there are elements of their construction that need attention.
