A 36-year-old Ardmore woman is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following a New Year’s Day incident that authorities say endangered children and caused property damage. The Ardmore DUI arrest is now under review by prosecutors in Carter County.

According to the Ardmore Police Department, officers were dispatched after reports that Brittany Cravatt allegedly attempted to assault a man before fleeing the scene in her vehicle. Police say Cravatt pulled into a private driveway, striking a small trailer and a fence.
Investigators say three children were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Officers responding to the scene reported signs of impairment, which led to the Ardmore DUI arrest.
Police documents indicate that during the arrest process, Cravatt allegedly resisted officers, resulting in an additional charge of assault and battery on a police officer.
