Today and tomorrow, Amateur Radio Operators, or “hams,” from across the state are meeting for their annual state convention or “Ham holiday.”
Mark Kleine, the Oklahoma Section Director, said hams across the state provide backup communication in emergencies.

There are more than 10,000 licensed hams in Oklahoma.
