Alysia Adams declined to plead guilty Last Minute

It wasn’t what was expected but a Caddo County woman who is facing a first-degree murder charge for the death of four-year-old Athena Brownfield apparently changed her mind and declined to plead guilty. Alysia Adams and her estranged husband Ivon Adams are facing charges for the death of the girl whose disappearance sparked a massive search in Caddo County in 2023. Her body was later discovered in a field near Rush Springs. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in Alysia Adams case.
