addressing a teacher shortage

A new program targeting the state’s teacher shortage by recruiting qualified educators from Mexico has been launched.  Three teachers from Mexico have been hired from a Puebla University by Santa Fe South Schools for three years. A non-profit which is involved in the program recognizes tensions around immigration in our state and nation.
