abortion bill pre-filed for the next session

A new abortion bill is pending before the next legislative session. The measure tells doctors before performing an abortion it must be necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman. It then adds they should make it a priority to preserve the lives of both the mother and the baby. House sponsor, Representative Jim Olson says his bill is an attempt to clear up confusion when a doctor can perform an abortion and not face a felony charge.
