There have been 81 confirmed sightings of mountain lions in Oklahoma since 2002. And now a bill is moving through the house to create a hunting season on the big cats. The proposal would use a raffle or lottery system with sealed bids for only five special permits a year.
Leave the kitties alone. They aren't hurting anyone.
Would sure be nice to know where in Oklahoma these 81 Lion Mountains have been seen. Lots of places to go hiking, wouldn't want to come up on one for sure.
According to the Dept. of Wildlife biologist (dip stick) those are just house cats. Had one show up on my place and he tried to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. What a buffoon.
Sure why not, Raffle Lottery, let the people with all the money buy, oh I mean win, their tickets!
screw the rest of us who would like a hunt.
