a call to artists to create a Route 66 sculpture

The Route 66 Centennial is next year. One element of OKC’s celebration will be in the form of a sculpture illustrating the historic spirit of the Mother Road. A call-to-artists has been issued to design that artwork. Part of the MAPS 4 project, the sculpture will be installed in NW OKC on or near the original 1926 highway route.
