A BILL TO ALLOW GUNS IN STATE LODGES ADVANCES

A senate bill advances after a committee hears SB372 allowing patrons of state properties to carry guns inside.  Senator Kelly Hines says any other hotel Oklahomans could carry a weapon inside.  One state senator, Regina Goodwin of Tulsa, questioned the necessity of the bill.  It passed out of committee on a 6 to 2 vote and will go to the senate floor for debate.
