Two of Oklahoma’s largest tribal employers — the Choctaw Nation and the Chickasaw Nation — landed in the top five nationwide on Forbes’ prestigious Best Places to Work list for 2025.

Other Oklahoma Employers Make the List
In total, 35 Oklahoma-based companies earned a spot. The top rankings also included IBM, Costco, and MidFirst Bank.
The University of Oklahoma ranked #6, making it the highest-ranked educational institution in the state. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City city government ranked #20, showcasing the strength of public sector jobs in the metro area.
