1921 Race massacre exhumations will continue

With the confirmation that remains from Tulsa’s Oaklawn cemetery of a second victim of the 1921 Race massacre, exhumations will continue. So far six bodies have been recovered all killed by gunshot wounds as more DNA work is underway.  Mayor Monroe Nichols says documents show there were many more victims and the site at this cemetery is likely where more of their remains are located.
