
A Multi-County Grand Jury investigation of the Governor’s COVID-19 Emergency Educational Relief fund found major misspending of millions dollars intended for Oklahoma students. Although the Grand Jury found no instances of criminal action or willful corruption, the jurors’ report blames Governor Stitt and School Superintendent Ryan Walters, for decisions they made on how the federal grant money was spent, calling the lack of internal controls irresponsible, disappointing and indefensible.
