The Oklahoma drought continues worsening despite limited northern rainfall, with 33 counties now under burn bans as wildfire danger remains high.

Oklahoma drought conditions have improved after June's heavy rainfall, but western Oklahoma continues to face severe long-term moisture deficits, according to State Climatologist Gary McManus.
