The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Supports Permanent Emergency Drought Commission

Instead of ramping up every time there is a drought, going permanent would mean more focus on long-term strategies.

“That commission may evolve a little bit in what they do as it becomes an ongoing process, rather than just an emergency process…,” said the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Vice President of Public Policy, Steve Thompson.
