the heat is 'on'

It appears there is some relief from the heat coming to Oklahoma. But over the next two days Oklahoma and 24 other states will see temperatures rise into the danger zone with heat advisories and extreme heat warnings in effect. The heat index in some parts of Oklahoma could top 112 degrees today. Here’s the good news, a cold front is expected to arrive in the state late Tuesday or early Wednesday bringing a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms and temperatures in the 80s and 90s. Until then experts advise water, shade, light colored clothes and to stay indoors as much as possible.
